About us

Sōl (soul) St Pete is a cozy yet sophisticated, family-owned and operated, farm-to-table restaurant dedicated to gluten-free and allergen-free upscale casual dining. Free from corn, soy, GMOs, refined/seed oils, refined sugar, peanuts, and cow cheese.   We aim to provide a welcoming and inclusive experience for all, regardless of dietary restrictions or preferences. "Our passion is crafting dishes that elevate comfort food and arouse nostalgia by taking you back to your grandmother's kitchen. We use simple cooking techniques and the highest quality fresh, organic, wild-caught, and grass-fed & finished seasonal ingredients to create an inviting-conscious culinary experience."

Debbie DeVico-O'Neil, the founder, executive chef, and co-owner with her husband Ron, has celiac disease and multiple food allergies, which the restaurant accommodates. After working as a holistic and allergen-free private chef and caterer for nine years, she opened Sōl in January 2022, driven by her passion for fresh, seasonal, allergen-friendly cuisine. With over 20 years of experience in holistic health and wellness, Debbie offers conscious culinary classes, holistic nutrition guidance, and lifestyle coaching.

Ron, a fitness expert who healed himself through nutrition and exercise, co-owns Sōl and previously operated local personal training and fitness studios for over 20 years, helping others transform their health. Together, Debbie and Ron, parents of seven children, provide a warm, friendly, and intimate upscale casual dining experience unique to St. Pete.

Our evolving menu is composed of scratch-made, delicious, healing, and easy-to-digest selections using organic pasture-raised and wild-caught protein, fresh herbs, locally sourced produce, progressive wines, and craft beers.

We are a farm-to-table seasonal restaurant and our menu will vary weekly and evolve depending on what’s seasonally available.


We use whole-food ingredients – no preservatives, no junk, only deliciousness. Nothing on our menu is processed or artificial and is always non-GMO and organic when available. We source pasture-raised grass-fed/finished beef, poultry, and eggs; wild and fresh herbs; locally sourced organic and seasonal produce; use Sea salt; healthy fats, and unrefined oils.

We prefer easy-to-digest sheep and goat milk dairy and only use organic cultured cows milk products like grass-fed butter and non-fat greek yogurt. We also offer grain-free, vegan, and vegetarian options.

We have food sensitivities, so we accommodate most special diets, food allergies, and sensitivities.

Our intent is not to merely feed you, but rather to nourish your soul. From our service to our products, all are infused with love and intention.
